The Wichita Wingnuts are a member of the American Association of Independent Baseball. The team was founded in 2008 and features three local owners. The Wingnuts have made it a goal of theirs to maintain a “Family Friendly and Affordable” theme. 2017 marks the 10th season of Wingnuts Baseball, and once again inside the gates at historic Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, there are a variety of special opportunities for everybody. The Wingnuts also have multiple private seating areas for your enjoyment including the Coors Light Party Deck, the Twisted Tea Field Pass, and 10 Skyboxes located high above the playing surface. The Wingnuts have excelled on the field throughout their first nine years winning a North Division title in 2009, Central Division Championships from 2011-13, and South Division Championships from 2014-2016. In 2014 the Wingnuts powered their way through the season with a 79-28 record to their first American Association Championship. The Wingnuts have also had over 40 players purchased by Major League teams, and have had 4 players make it to the Big Leagues.
