The Wichita Wingnuts are a member of the American Association of Independent Baseball League.  The team originated in Wichita and played their first season in 2008 with the help of 5 local Wichita owners.  The Wingnuts have maintained a “Family Friendly and Affordable” atmosphere to come enjoy a baseball game.  From the moment the gates are opened you are approached by Spinner the Squirrel and opportunities for the kids to jump around on the inflatables and even in the playground down the right field line.  The Wingnuts also have multiple private seating areas for your enjoyment of the game including the Bud Light Lime Party Deck, the Twisted Tea Field Pass, and any one of the 10 Skyboxes located high above the playing surface.  The Wingnuts have excelled on the field throughout the first 5 years winning a North Division Title in 2009 and Central Division Championships in 2011 and 2012.  The Wingnuts have also signed over 17 players back to MLB contracts which is more than any other team in the American Association over the past 5 years.
